The Articmaster is designed with quality, reliability and recyclebility in
mind. With no moving parts, other than a single float ball to indicate
refrigerant flow, there is nothing to break or wear out. In addition, the
Articmaster does not require water, electricity and any additional source
of energy to improve the efficiency of Air-Conditioning or Refrigeration
Systems.

Long Life
With a 10-year warranty and a much longer lifetime of 10 years, the
Articmaster will last longer than the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration
Equipments.

Easy To Install
Articmaster installation is simple and fast. A certified HVAC
professional should be able to install an Articmaster typically in 2 to
three hours. Some basic training is required, and our technical manual
contains Information and Checklist to qualify a HVAC tech to be a
certified Articmaster installer.

Short Payback Period
The Articmaster improves the efficiency of Air-Conditioning or
Refrigeration Systems and pay for itself usually within three years. In
some cases where the application is continuous, the payback period is
less than two years.

Reduced Amperage Draw
The Articmaster reduces head pressure in the system, thus lowering
the amperage draws on the compressor motor. The reduced head
pressure of the system also lowers the liquid refrigerant temperature.

Less Compressor Run-Time
The Articmaster enables your cooling system to remove more
Heat with a cooler liquid refrigerant. Studies show that, with Articmaster,
the Air Conditioner will run less frequently. Less run time equals less
energy consumption. The Articmaster provides proper cooling with
improved efficiency.

Extend Compressor Life
The Articmaster will extend the life of the compressor in several
ways. First, the Articmaster creates turbulent flow of refrigerant
which serves to circulate oil throughout the refrigerant line and
move it to the compressor where it is needed. A well lubricated
compressor last longer. Secondly, with Articmaster, the
compressor runs less frequently, and thus experiences less wear
and tear. Thirdly, reduced head pressure translates to less strain on
the compressor and longer life.

How Articmaster Works
1  The liquid refrigerant enters the Articmaster allowing the Compressor to do work
with less Head Pressure

2  The lower Head Pressure reduces amperage draw AND lowers the liquid
refrigerant temperature

3  At the bottom outlet is a stationary impeller that spins the liquid refrigerant as it
drains, creating a Swirling Turbulent flow

4  The liquid refrigerant leaving the Articmaster is in a swirling, uniform flow.
    * - Increase flow velocity profile at the edge
    * - Reduces flow restrictions
    * - Removes oil that has collected on the tube inner surface
    * - Maintain flow efficiency

5  The swirling, colder refrigerant passes through the thermal expansion valve,
enabling the refrigerant to absorb more heat at the evaporator coil ( Q=Mass*Cp(T2-
T1)), where Cp is the specific heat.

6  The Efficiency of  Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Systems is generally described

AC/Refrigeration System with Articmaster installed changes its

7  In colder weather application, as the evaporator coil becomes colder, the
compression ratio of the condenser is reduced due to lower head pressure

    * - The lower head pressure reduces the liquid refrigerant to flow out of the
    condenser, allowing refrigerant to back up into the condenser
    * - The refrigerant vortex level in the Articmaster will become shallow and will
    cavitate or suck warm gas vapor from the upper portion of the vessel
    * - This will momentarily starve the evaporator, and the warm gas will defrost
    the coil, keeping it from freezing further
  • Lower high head pressure reduces the compression ratio and the refrigerant
    temperature.
  • Lower compression ratios require less energy needed to run the compressor.
  • Lower temperatures produces better cooling capacity, which reduces
    compressor run time.
  • The swirling turbulent refrigerant flow maintains oil migration, thus preventing
    oil from collecting in the evaporator.
  • The Articmaster works like an automatic defrost of the coils, but with no
    controls 
or additional components.
  • The Articmaster enables lower condenser coil temperatures without         
    freezing.
  • The Articmaster is a Passive Condenser Controlled Device that does not
    require water, electricity or electronics to work.
